Welcome!

For quite awhile now, I have been wanting to start a networking group of local families who have joined the ever-increasing, vast community of Adoptive and Foster Families.  In our area alone, it is nearly astonishing how many families are following God's call to take care of the widows and orphans.  With so many local churches answering by taking the time to invest spiritually, mentally, and physically in Adoption support groups based in their churches, it has really "paid off" in that we have really seen an increase in those desiring to Adopt or Foster God's Children.

There is advice to be learned by all, and to be shared with all.  I would hope that we could all get our hearts and minds together to share it.  We can plan get-togethers, or share seminars in our area, point people in the direction of local fundraisers, share prayer requests, resources, etc.

So please join the blog roll, be blessed by those around you in similar circumstances, and maybe even find out your neighbor has the same passion for God's children that you do.  This will be a Christian-based blog; there will be no swearing or inappropriate language.  If you aren't a Christian, you are still more than welcome to join the blog roll, but keep in mind I will not be sorry for posting what I believe and am passionate about.

I would ask at this time that only Adoptive families, those in the process of Adopting, Foster parents, previous Foster parents, adult Adoptees/Foster children, or those who work with organizations join the Official Adoptive Blog Roll.  Everyone else, we would LOVE to have you on the Friends Blog Roll because we know there are a LOT of support members in the community stepping up to help us.  If you don't have a blog, you can become a Follower on the right and subscribe to what has been posted.  For now, if you have anything that you want shared (a story, a picture, a country update, a link, etc.) please E-mail it to me and I will post it for you linking it back to your blog or website.

Let's bring our needs as a community together so we can all support each other as we journey through life!
